Week 15: Transfers

3. Baptism!!

Hey I don't have a lot of time this week because... I am getting transferred! I am going to Bangna, which is near Bangkok! That is pretty far from Chiang Mai. I really love Chiang Mai so it is hard to leave but I am grateful for the people and the things I learned here. Today we went shopping and I packed and said goodbye to people and ate some great food. I had to say goodbye to my favorite cocoa yen lady which was sad :( here are some highlights from the week...

-Noi and F got baptized this week! There 2 kids got baptized 2 weeks ago and it is amazing to see their whole family change and become better through accepting the teachings of Jesus Christ. They are so amazing - we taught them about fasting and they said they learned about fasting from their kids and they had already fasted and they knew the church was true. They have seen the blessings of following the commandments as they stopped working on Sunday, stopped drinking coffee, etc. They are amazing and I will miss them!

-got stuck in an elevator this week: we went to a hospital to visit a member and got stuck in it on the way down, and they tried to fix it but got stuck again

-got to help someone put together a resume and edited essays...feels like I never left

- a member had these awesome fish shoes and I saw them in the market when inviting and bought some! #blessings

-literally talking with everyone - when we are on our bikes at a stop sign and we talk and invite the people on motorcycles next to us, when we are on the way to an appointment, everyone. So much fun!

There is so much more but I have no time today. Sorry but I will email again on Monday! Remember that you choose to be happy actively - so do it!

Love you all!
